The Villages Fontanella and Faschina are the highest and sunniest villages in the valley surrounded by limestone, soft meadows and wild mountain streams. An impressive mountain landscape where you can spend a perfect summer vacation.

Mountain Sports
An extensive and well maintained network of varied hiking trails with routes for beginners and advanced hikers. Another unique feature is the Flower Walk Learning path. The area to the Hahnenkopf on the north side of the Biosphärenpark has about 150 special plants. The plants are protected, and through billboards you can get more information while enjoying the beautiful flowers.

Water Sports
The Seewaldsee, the pearl of Fontanella. A quiet mountain lake where you can swim very well. Easily accessible after a short walk. Who wants it even easier, takes from "der Säge" the Seewaldseezügle.

Recommendation
In Faschina at the Hahnenkopf is the summer tubing track. The track is very popular with children and families, and can be used by children over 4 years.
