Pfaffenhofen is located next to the town Telfs in the Inn Valley. The common station is near the village. An area that used to be very important, which can be seen at the ruins Hörtenberg. Here previously the court was located in the region. The landscape around the village is a nice area to enjoy nature while hiking and biking.

Mountain Sports
The region is in recent years emerging as mountain sports area. Numerous hiking trails, mountain biking and other mountain sports opportunities are offered. The sports center also offers climbing in the indoor Climbing Hall, and various other sports.

Recommended are the ruins Hörtenberg, the Pfaffenhofer Alm and the parish church Mariä Himmelfahrt. Other attractions are in the surrounding villages, such as the Stift Stams.
